Sahara India Pariwar led by Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara recently established a large manufacturing unit of its E-vehicles venture ‘Sahara Evols’ in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh which is seen as a good time for increasing employment opportunities in the region.
This Sahara Group’s subsidiary offers electric scooters, motorcycles, 3-wheelers and cargo vehicles which are preferred by the users due to their affordable prices and advanced features. In the initial phase, around 50 thousand electric scooters and 6 thousand 3-wheeler or E-auto rickshaw would be manufactured. As per the vision of Subrata Roy Sahara, only Indian technologies and parts would be used while assembling these vehicles which, in turn, will strengthen the initiative of ‘Self-Reliant’ India.
To keep a check on the use of petrol, diesel vehicles, it becomes important for the users to switch over to e-mobility for limiting the use of fossil fuel which will, ultimately, run out in future.
